GROWTH IN COMMUNITY
The Manatee Riverwalk District is experiencing exceptional growth and redevelopment in the downtown core area.
Project Amount Project
 In excess of $300 million Rivieria Dunes Development  - upscale neighborhood with 220 homes, 250 condos, marina, clubhouse,  village shopping center, eateries, and commercial center.
$160 million The Promenade at Riverwalk - Construction of Phase I has been compleed. The first of three luxury condominium buildings contains 115 sold units.  A parking garage for residents and general public is part of Phase I.  
$65 million County Judicial Center - Work on the new, 223,000 sq. ft. courthouse facility, completed in 2008.
$37 million Manatee Memorial Hospital - Construction of their new three-story state-of-the-art addition and parking. Completed in 2007.
$16.2 million Mainstreet at Bradenton Apartments - 252 one, two, and three-bedroom luxury apartment homes.
$8 million Palmetto Riverside Plaza - upscale retail and commercial development including a spa, medical facilities and a smoothie bar.
$6.4 million South Florida Museum & Bishop Planetarium - Completed  a major renovation program which that completely transformed the large, well-appointed 2-floor museum and state-of-the-science, all digital dome theater planetarium.
$5 million City Municipal Parking Garage - The City of Bradenton, in partnership with Manatee County, completed construction of an unique "office building look", four-story, 500 space parking garage in 2006.
$4 million 701 Building - 31,000 sq. ft., two-story medical office building on Manatee Ave. W. and 7th St. W.
$1 million Bruce Williams Homes corporate headquarters - new 14,000 sq. ft. facility adjacent to the Antique District.
$2.8 million Waterfront Park improvements to Rossi Park along the Manatee River include clock tower, fountain, amphitheater & memorial park. Phase I is complete and Phase II is under design with walkways along the river to Manatee Memorial Hospital.
$10 million Riverwalk Professional Park - a new professional office campus located downtown along the river.  This multi-million dollar project features two two-story condominium-style office buildings for a total of 51,000 sq. ft.  
Under construction River-Song at Riverwalk - the second deluxe residential condominium tower on the Riverwalk. This 15-story, 110 unit building will complement the other new structures being built in the downtown business district. 
Under design East/West Building - Planned remodel of 20,000 sq. ft. mixed-use, two-story building located in the Antiques District will accommodate both office/professional and retail.
Under design Tarpon Pointe - A marina/residence project planned as a 3-building high-rise condominium complex. The unique campus-style design will feature 155 units and 17 deluxe townhomes overlooking the river.
Under design Downtown City Central - is a mixed-use development … street level will accommodate a mix of retail and banking, the second, third and fourth floors are reserved for deluxe office space for a total of 80,000 s.f.  The remaining 10 floors will provide 106 deluxe residential units.  Construction is slated to begin in the fall of 2006.
