A growing income base
With the growth of higher skilled, higher paying jobs, 
Manatee County has seen an increase in per capita income.
Per Capita Income
In 2007, Manatee County had a per capita personal income (PCPI) of $39,631. This PCPI ranked 13th in the state and was 103 percent of the state average, $38,417, and 103 percent of the national average, $38,615. The 2007 PCPI reflected an increase of 3.3 percent from 2006.
